My first impression was that this bottle was huge for only $22, and I love a good bargain. Not to mention, the bottle was also aesthetically pleasing, with a cute little bird on the side, lemon designs, and an uplifting yellow hue.
While the product is a good value for the price, comes in a cute bottle, and has a thick consistency, the moment of truth was determining whether or not Harvey Prince Hello Body Cream actually does what it claims to do.
To test it, I pumped a dollop into my hands and noticed right off the bat that it was thick, just as it appeared. The feeling on my skin was smooth, as it glided easily across my hands and arms. As an added bonus, the body cream was absorbed by my skin rather quickly. Being that I'm the type of girl who applies body cream immediately after showering, I was pretty excited! It means I don't have to spend too much time waiting for it to absorb before getting dressed.
Most of the skin lotions and body creams that I've used in the past have either left my skin feeling greasy or even less moisturized after the product was absorbed by my skin. Hello Body Cream by Harvey Prince is an exception. Upon applying it, my skin instantly felt soft and smooth.
As for the scent, well, it's absolutely lovely to say the least. It's subtle. It's feminine. It's citrus-y, yet soft. It's new and refreshing, just like that of spring.
At first, it smells of lemon, but as it sets in, a hint of musk begins to tickle your nose. Finally, a soft floral scent takes over--quite possibly due to Plumeria extract being one of the ingredients.
Speaking of ingredients, the main three are water, coconut oil, and olive oil. This is a winning combination. Coconut oil is known for it's many skin benefits.
Even though the cold, indoor months are right around the corner, the body cream left me feeling as if it were spring again. I absolutely love it! An uplifting scent like this is a must-have once the winter blues begin to set in.
