For those of you just now checking in, on December 4, 2014, I started the AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge. Today is Day 10 of the challenge, and I'm excited to share with you my "halfway" results.
Below, you'll see photographs from Day 1 and from today (Day 10). I'm not sure if you can actually see the results simply by looking at these photographs (on Day 24, I will take the pictures wearing the exact same clothes from Day 1, to give you a better idea of my results), but not only have I lost four pounds since I started (went from 210 to 206), but I've also lost a combined total of four inches!
I'd like to add that since it is Day 10, it is the last day of the Cleanse Phase, which means the Max Phase begins tomorrow morning. I'd like to go over the Cleanse Phase with you today, and on Day 24, I'll talk a bit about the Max Phase, and my experience with it.
The cleanse phase, according to the 24-Day Challenge Daily Guide, "helps remove waste, preparing for optimal nutrient absorption.*
Now, when you hear the word "cleanse" in association with weight loss, you might automatically assume that you're going to be running to the bathroom every 30 minutes. Let me tell you right now that this is absolutely not the case with the AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge. It should be noted that the Cleanse Phase does not consist of starving yourself, either, as many other "cleanse" methods require fasting. Not so with this program.
Of course, when you do eat, you need to eat sensibly. Breakfast can consist of protein, a complex carb, and fruits. Lunch should consist of protein, a complex carb, and vegetables. Dinner is the same as lunch, with a complex carb, only if needed.
I found myself trying new recipes and finding new foods that I love (like hummus!). So, not only does AdvoCare help jump start your weight loss routine, but you may also learn a little bit about yourself in the process!
Moving on, there are specific products designed for the Cleanse Phase:

I feel better overall, not bloated in the least, despite the amount of water I've been drinking, and my clothes are a little less snug. Not to mention, I feel fantastic!
Many of you know that I suffer from debilitating migraines. Since starting AdvoCare, I've had a migraine 3/10 days. It should be noted that 2/3 times, a Spark has provided me with relief. The one exception was when a Spark didn't relieve my headache, but a single Aleve did. I'm used to taking Aleve combined with Excedrin, but this time, it wasn't needed.* This, in itself, is huge for me, as a regular migraine sufferer.

Want to really switch things up? You can eliminate animal products from your diet without sacrificing weight loss by going vegan. Understanding the vegan diet and how to get enough sustenance without animal products is crucial to a healthy vegan diet. It's not just about protein. Vegan intermittent fasting (https://veganliftz.com/vegan-intermittent-fasting/) is another way to speed up your results and stay healthy. Many vegans have had incredible success on their weight loss journeys.
Moving on, there are specific products designed for the Cleanse Phase:
- Herbal Cleanse caplets
- ProBiotic Restore Ultra
- Fiber Drink
- AdvoCare Spark
- OmegaPlex
You may also combine companion products with the Cleanse and Max Phases, including Carb-Ease Plus, ThermoPlus, Catalyst, and the Meal Replacement Shakes (which are optional during the Cleanse Phase).
I found the Cleanse Phase to be very easy. I followed the 24-Day Challenge Daily Guide to a "T," making sure to never miss a beat. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with three small, sensible snacks per day, plus drank my Spark, and had my Fiber Drink when it was required. I made sure to take any required caplets on time. I've gotten in at least 30 minutes of cardio each day since I've started. And now, I'm seeing some awesome results!
With that said, I hope that you're as excited as I am about the 24-Day Challenge. If you're interested in trying out the 24-Day Challenge for yourself, check out their products and read a little more!
