Freelance Lady: François et Mimi Stacking Mug Set with Rack Review

There's nothing like a nice, durable mug—especially during the winter. While I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I am an avid fan of hot chocolate.

Recently, I had the chance to try the François et Mimi Stacking Mug Set with Metal Stand.

Let's get down to business, shall we?

The Mugs + Rack

The set comes with four ceramic mugs along with a metal wire rack that holds the mugs. When the mugs are placed into the wire rack, the handles stick out along the side so that they are easy to grab and remove.

I found the wire rack to be quite durable, standing up to the weight of all four mugs, without toppling over. I felt that it turned the mugs into more of a decorative accent as opposed to just simple mugs.

The Size

Each mug holds 12 ounces of liquid, which is a bit bigger than the 8 ounce mugs that I'm used to.

Because there is more space in the François et Mimi mugs, it means more hot chocolate and refills less often, which I appreciate.

Appearance

Can I take a moment admire these mugs? I absolutely adore them!

The pastel colors are light, without being too "busy" and they fit perfectly with my kitchen decor.

The way the colors are mixed and matched throughout (including the mug itself, the handles, and the bottom) really bring these mugs to life and adds a dose of originality.

Functionality

The François et Mimi mugs are both microwave and dishwasher safe, which makes making hot chocolate and cleaning the mugs a breeze. While I still prefer to make my hot cocoa on the stove, knowing that I can heat it up in the microwave if need be is a nice change.

The mug is nice and thick, too, so the mug never became too hot to handle after pouring the hot chocolate in.

Overall, I absolutely adore these mugs. They're cute. They're original. They're functional. They look awesome filled with hot chocolate...

And marshmallows.

I definitely recommend the François et Mimi Stacking Mug Set for those of you looking for high-quality, durable, and attractive mugs that will add a little spunk to your counter top.
