Freelance Lady: Light Up Your Home with Affordable Micro LED Lights

My bedroom is a very important part of my home—if not the most important, next to the kitchen. Over the past several months, I've been working hard to turn my bedroom into a place of rest and relaxation, as well as a place to reflect and unwind.

I've always loved the idea of using lights to bring about a warm ambiance, but have never tried—that is, until now. Today, I'm going to share with you the brand of lights I've used to literally light up my bedroom, and hopefully inspire you to try them out for yourself.

I received a set of two 15 micro LED string lights from RTGS Products. This particular set of lights retails for around $7.95—and I believe they are absolutely worth it!

When I received the lights in the mail, I was anxious to try them. I knew they would go great in my bedroom, so I opened the package, which contained everything you see below.

I received two sets of the lights themselves that are mounted on a strand of flexible wire. The wire is attached to a battery terminal.

Batteries are included. You receive two sets of batteries, one for each light. The lights require 3V Lithium batteries. The batteries are expected to last over 24 hours.

Installing the batteries on the micro LED lights is super easy. There are little tabs that separate to reveal the battery terminals.

Inside the case are clearly marked terminals for both positive and negative. No guesswork needed!

The batteries just pop right in with ease.

Snap the case closed, and you're good to go!

To test your lights, locate the switch which is located on the flat side of your terminal, where the cord attaches.

Flip the switch and make sure that they're working properly. If the lights are not working, make sure that you installed the batteries correctly and that the case is closed all of the way.

Once you have installed the batteries and make sure that your lights work properly, you can use them for whatever you'd like. There are so many different options for these micro LED lights, including home decor, crafts, and parties. The fact that they can be fully submersed in water means that the possibilities are virtually unlimited!

The wire that attaches the lights is extremely flexible. This means that the lights can be hung on a wall, twisted to create a picture or spell a word, stuffed into mason jars, and even rolled into a ball.

Use your imagination!

I decided to attach these micro LED lights to my corner headboard using thumbtacks. I simply placed the thumbtacks along my headboard and wrapped the lights around them.

Being that my blackout curtains let in very little sunlight during the day and very little moonlight in at night, I wanted these lights to provide ambiance as well as function so that I could read or write whenever I felt like it. These Micro LED Warm Lights are perfect for that!
