We have all been there. A night where you head out with friends to a bar or to town and suddenly you end up drinking 3 bottles of wine and heading into the club for more. We all have nights where we go a little to hard on the alcohol and because of this we can end up losing a day to a hangover.
Today we are going to take a look at some of the
best things that you can do for a hangover to make sure that you don’t lose too much time after a great night.
Hair of the dog
The first of the tips we have is one which you might not want to hear. When our body has had a lot of alcohol in its system, in a way it is better for us to drink a small amount of alcohol because this allows the body to slowly declimatise itself from it. It is important for us to be able to drink a small glass of wine or a bottle of beer and this will usually help us feel better.
Drink fluids
The most important thing you should do after a night on the town is drink as much water as you possibly can. Drinking water is incredibly important and you have to ensure that you drink enough to keep the body healthy and allow the body to flush out toxin. You can even use
IV Hydration if you are feeling really down and this can be a quick way to bring those hydration levels back up quickly.
Eat carbs
It is incredibly important for us to try and fill our stomach with food when we have had a hangover because our body will often be weak and low on energy. Make sure to eat as many carbs as you can after a hangover including bread and pasta and anything else. Really there is never a good excuse not to eat carbs so it’s good for us to have a real excuse to do it!
Drink coffee
Coffee is a drink which contains caffeine as well as other molecules which provide the body with energy as well as mental stimulus. It is super important for us to drink a cup of coffee after a night out because it will help to clear the mind and make sure that we are able to truly start the day with a clear mind and a burst of energy.
Take vitamins
Vitamins are always important after drinking too much because our body is essentially been poisoned by alcohol and in this time we need to make sure that we are able to take vitamins to keep the body healthy and allow it to heal.
Vitamins B6 and D are particularly great, and if you can handle a glass of orange juice or two this can be a helpful way to feel better today.
