HotelSpa® Spectrum Ultra-Luxury 7-setting / 7-color LED Hand Shower with Chrome Face Review + Giveaway



My husband and I are currently in the process of remodeling our bathroom and were recently in the market for a new shower head. When I came across the HotelSpa Spectrum 7-Setting, 7-Color LED shower head, I knew it was something we had to try. As a family with two children, I knew that this would interest them (and of course, I thought it would be a cool addition to our new bathroom).

In case you're unsure, the HotelSpa Spectrum 7-Setting, 7-Color LED shower head is a shower head that lights up! I thought that had to be one of the coolest inventions!

The face of the shower head itself is rather large. It features 7 settings, including a mist setting, which I think is incredibly neat!



What I absolutely loved about this shower head is that the company provides you with all that you need to install it and start using it. It comes with the shower head mount...

And, if you didn't see in the first photograph at the top of this post, they even included plumber's tape! Never, in my life, have I ever purchased a shower head that also came with plumber's tape! I had to give a big round of applause to the company on that one!


Installing the shower head was incredibly easy. It took me about ten minutes. After installing it, we decided to check it out and see how well it worked.

Please excuse the painter's tape in the background. As mentioned previously, we are currently in the process of remodeling.

The shower head featured beautiful, vibrant colors.


To give you a better idea of how cool the shower head is, I shut off the lights.






How amazing is that?!

My husband was actually pretty iffy on the whole idea of an LED shower head, but once he saw it in action, he decided that it could stay! My son, who is 7-years-old thinks it is the coolest thing ever, and between you and me, so do I!

Now, when using the shower head, there is a very subtle sound that you hear when the water is running and the lights are on. This seemed to concern some reviewers. I wanted to touch on that a little bit.

Because the LED shower head is not battery-operated, the humming sound is typical. It is caused by coils that spin in order to produce the electricity required to power the lights. It really isn't bothersome, in my opinion, and over the sound of the water, you really can't hear it anyway.

I love this shower head and think that it adds a funky, conversation piece to our home! It's going to fit in well with our remodel. I love that the lights change during my shower and I love that it has so many settings. I highly recommend this shower head!

    I love the shower head and it would certainly jazz up my blah bathroom, but the biggest reason that I need this right now. The shower head that I'm using is just terrible.

    I had the most amazing shower head at my last place that we bought a few years ago... It was ginormous and was like standing under a rainshower.... Meant to take it with us when we moved, but we forgot!!! Ever since, we've been looking for a new one, but I saw some of these light up shower heads not too long ago and have had my heart set on one...

    I would love to win this as this is much nicer than the one i have now. Mine is only about as wise as a quater and has absolutely no pressure at all. It feels like i have to catch the droplets just to rinse my hair. I would be in heaven to have something like this in my shower.

    I would love this. It's so gorgeous. This would be the best in the early morning when I like to take a shower but not have all the lights on. Wake up slowly kind of thing. Or at night after a long day, or just when I want to rave in the shower...

    I am all for the 7 settings, I know we all like to shower using different settings and our current showerhead does not offer that. The lights are a big plus, I love your video, I know I'd definitely try showering in the dark at least once for that awesome light show :)

    I would love this because my shower head is very basic. Having a tiny bathroom and just a stand up shower makes it uncomfortable to take a shower, and this would make it a much better experience.
