As many moms will agree, your abdomen just isn't the same after having children. Mine, well, it's big, round, and definitely on the "flabby" side. I've tried exercises, creams, water, and stretches, but the only thing that seems to tighten and tone my stomach is a well-balanced diet, exercise, and adequate hydration.
Recently, I had the opportunity to try Neutriherbs Herbal Superior Body Wrap. After having heard quite a bit about the "It Works" body wraps, I figured that this was a cheaper alternative and was pretty excited to try it out.

The Neutriherbs Herbal Superior Body Wrap is a product that claims to tighten, tone, and firm the area where it is worn, while also improving skin texture. According to the product page on Amazon, results may be noticed within as little as 45 minutes, with progressive results showing up within 72 hours. And at only $37.90 for five wraps, it's a bargain when compared to other body wrap brands.
As if tightening and firming wasn't enough the Neutriherbs Herbal Superior Body Wrap also claims to flush impurities, thanks to the all-natural herbs in the wrap.
According to the packaging, you should use one wrap every 72 hours and that some see a difference after one, whereas others need two to three applications to see results.
These wraps may be worn by men and women and contain several ingredients that are supposedly absorbed by the skin, including caffeine, L-Carnitine, and Garcinia Cambogia extract.
Before I discuss whether or not the wrap worked for me, I'd like to share with you a "before" picture of my abdomen prior to using the wrap.
With high hopes that the body wrap would help smooth and tighten my midsection, I was ready to try it out. Upon opening the wrap and unfolding it, I realized that it had somewhat of an "earthy" smell to it—like herbs—with a hint of mint or menthol. It wasn't unpleasant to me, as it reminded me of herbal tea.
It did look a little strange though.
Anyway, I placed the wrap on my stomach area and immediately realized that it wasn't going to stay in place by itself. This problem was easily remedied by wrapping an ace bandage around the wrap to hold it in place. I wore the wrap for a total of two hours. The packaging states to wear the wrap for at least 45 minutes, but to wear it longer for maximum results.
After about 15 minutes, I noticed that my midsection started to feel a little "tingly," similar to what it feels like what you use a muscle rub cream.
The directions call for lots of water, so I drank four bottles in the two hours that I was wearing the wrap. After removing the body wrap, I rubbed the excess herb mixture into my skin. Next, I looked in the mirror and then took a photograph.
This is the result after two hours.
Obviously, there was a difference. Subtle, but certainly a difference. I did notice that the next day, however, my stomach was back to the size of the "before" picture, so the results do not last very long.
In my opinion, the product works, but for a short time. Because of this, I cannot justify the price for the results. I am a firm believer that the only way to tighten and tone the body is through hydration, a well-balanced diet, and exercise. Perhaps the wrap would work better in combination with those methods?

Here is a side-by-side image to actually compare the results. In the second image, I was getting ready to apply an additional wrap, to see if I could tone my midsection a little more. The results with a second wrap (back to back) weren't incredibly different.

I am a recent wrap girl with itworks! And there are some issue with this. First you shouldn't expect to see results doing back to back wrapping cuz that's not how it works. You should however have seen progressive results following if you drank plenty of water over the following 72 hours. Also it works! Wraps are lasting results so there really is no comparison. You want a product that actually works then pay an extra $15 and get real results. Anyone else is just imitators
ReplyDeleteI recently bought some it works wraps and I'm just sadly not impressed! I got way better results rubbing Ponds collagen cream and wrapping with saran wrap than I did with these and the price difference is extreme! I had high hopes that I would see the results that are advertised all over social media! Funny thing is that they tell you to drink lots of water and follow their eating guide, that alone will shrink your belly in 72 hours without spending all that money on their wraps!
